Ryder's Birthday

Ryder turned 3 on April 23.  We were unable to celebrate his birthday that day because for the 2nd year in a row, he was super sick on his birthday.  The good news was his party was not till this past weekend...and he was healthy and had a blast.  We had about 20 kids for pizza, cake and lots of bouncing and sliding.  Thank you Bounce U! 

You will notice in the pictures that Ricky may have had as much fun as Ryder.  Wonder if I can book the place again for Ricky's birthday??

April Update

We had a wonderful (and busy) April.  We had a visit from Jen's folks for the Spring game and then we have a weekend trip out to Colorado to visit Ricky's family.  It was Jake's first flight.  He was a great traveler.  It was also Ryder's 3rd birthday, but that will be in my next post.

This is from a pirate and princess party we went to.  I could not find a pirate costume for Jake, so he was Ryder's parrot.  They both looked adorable.

Ryder loves doctors, he is going to be a football player and a doctor too (according to him).   Nini (deb) took us to her hospital and let Ryder wear some gloves and a mask, he loved it.

Sweet Sweet Kahla

A couple weeks ago, we lost our loving dog, Kahla. She has been with us since June of 2007. She was 16 years old (we think). She was a fantastic, beautiful and loyal dog. She was greatly loved and will be forever missed.
