Ryder's Half Birthday

I know Ryder is closer to 7 months now, but we never did a post for Ryder's big half birthday. Looking through my pictures I cannot believe how much Ryder has changed in 6 short months.

6 month stats:
Weight: 20 lbs 6 oz (86%)
Height: 28.5" (93%)
Head: 45.5 cm (90%)

He is growing at a steady rate. Enjoy the pictures!

Grandparents Visit Round 3

Granny and Pup Pup (my mom and dad) came to town last weekend to visit the Rahne family. It was a great weekend to visit, we had Ryder's 6 month pictures taken Friday (& Sunday) and we had a big game on Saturday!

Pictures went as well as can be expected. For some reason, our smiley little man does NOT like the camera. I should get them soon, I hope there are some good ones.

The game went awesome!! KSU beat in state rival, KU. It was a great game and we enjoyed every minute. I was glad to see Ricky get a victory over those darn Jayhawks, his first one. Two more weeks of football, Let's Go Cats...let's see two more big wins!

Sunday was a sad day as we said goodbye to Granny and Pup Pup, but we will see them again soon. With no Steelers football on Sunday, we went to bed early an anticipation for a big Monday Night Football game with (the in family rivals) the Broncos. The Broncos held their own but in the end fell to the mighty black and gold.

Ryder's First Halloween

Hi Friends and Family! I am FINALLY posting Halloween pictures.

Ryder enjoyed his first Halloween, at least parts of it. The very generous grandparents bought Ryder a couple costumes and in order to get pictures in all of them Halloween started early at our house. If you click on the title of the post, you can see ALL the pictures, but we narrowed it down to a couple for posting purposes.

PS Although Ryder did not go out trick or treating on Halloween (we stayed in, gave out candy, and watched the KSU game) a neighbor brought him his first treat. Teddy grahams. He could not eat them...but he loved the wrapping and the noise it made and played with his candy all night.

Kahla and her pumpkin head (she was not amused)

Yogi as a Bumblebee (he did not even notice he had a costume on)

Mommy and Ryder as bumblebees (Yes, Yogi and I shared the costume..which had to be returned because of a broken zipper...bummer)

Ryder as a Honeypot...he was NOT a fan of this costume

Grandparents Visit, Round 2

Deb, Ricky's mom, came to visit a couple weeks ago. She brought along with her Nancy Snider and Kaden (nephew). It was a slow relaxing weekend, with fun trick or treating and a great victory!

It was Homecoming, so Friday we headed to Aggieville for trick or treating and the Homecoming parade. It was Ryder's first time trick or treating, he was a penguin and he looked adorable. Of course, terrible mom here forgot her camera. Oops. I got plenty of pictures on Halloween though, next post!

Saturday was game day. KSU defeated the CU Buffaloes in an early afternoon game. It made for a fun relaxing happy afternoon with Ricky and his family.

Sunday we went trick or treating again, this time at Ricky's office. It was a great time. We were sad to see our guests go. Thanks for coming Deb, Nancy and Kaden.

A Normal Evening in the Rahne House

Check out the video of my two favorite pups and my little man. They play together every now and again and it is always an adventure.
