Trip to Colorado

After our trip to the Poconos, we made our way to Denver to visit Ricky's family. It was an excellent visit with lots of fun pictures and memories. Topping that list was the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. The zoo was interactive and the animals were sooo close. Here are a couple pictures from the zoo.

I know, I know. I took it a little far. But, how often do you get to kiss a giraffe. Plus, a giraffe is one of my favorites animal.

Ryder rode a horse all by himself, well...not with mommy or daddy holding him. He did great!

Next we spent the night at the beautiful Broadmore Resort and the next day swimming in the resort pool. It was a great visit to Colorado Springs.

Then we headed further up the mountains to Ricky's grandparent's log cabin. Ryder loved the railroad. He also went hiking and fishing and did all those fun cabin things.

This is Ryder before he left for fishing...how cute.

I love this picture, 4 generations of Rahne men! All happy and handsome.

The Big Drop

I wasn't sure if I was going to share this video, but we have had some requests for it, so here it is. This is my 26 month old on a drop ride. This one is more like the tower of terror, it goes up and down and you never know when it is going to fall again. You had to be 44" to ride alone, but there were NO restrictions on riding with an adult, so Ryder was allowed on everything in the park (or maybe you had to be 36" which we hit months ago). Pretty sweet.

Sesame Place

We recently got back from a two week vacation to the Pocono Mountains and Denver. Unfortunately our camera died after the first week, but we still have pictures. We had a few standout events, and this one day earned its own post..Sesame Place. Ryder loved this park outside of Philly. It is a great water park for 2-4 year olds and especially those that love ELMO!!

Highlights of the day... meeting all the characters Riding all the rides. Ryder did great with all the rides, even better than his dad. At one point I heard the guy next to me say this..."look at that dad. His kid is having a great time, but the dad is turning green". He was talking about Ricky and Ryder. It was hysterical. The parade was probably the best part. We lucked right into front row seats. I wish we had better video of the parade, Ryder danced his little heart out the whole time. it was adorable.
