Ryder and I visited with Santa today. Ryder had a wonderful time talking Santa's ear off. In the meantime, we got a couple cute pictures. Enjoy!
A sweet little smile

One Last Update
I am a little behind in this one last post...The Rahne family is expecting a new little one in the month of December. Best Christmas gift ever!
Here is a cute picture of my little man and I...both with baby bellies!
We decided to not find out the gender and we are not telling names...all a big surprise! I will be sure to get some photos up of the new little one as soon as he/she joins us!
Halloween
Here are a couple pictures of our Little Lion. Background first, I bought Ryder a dragon costume about 2 months ago. We were all set and ready for Halloween or so I thought! Ryder then started telling anyone that would listen that he was going to be a lion for Halloween. (I think we have Uncle Mike to thank for that one! Uncle Mike is a Columbia Lion and Ryder has loved Lions since he started there.)
He was so excited to be a lion that I had to last minute search for a costume and luckily found something pretty cute. We trick or treated in Ricky's office for the first hour and then headed to a neighborhood close by for some outdoor trick or treating (Btw, Tim McGraw was there with his kids! Rumor was Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban too, but I did not see them). We did not get home till after 8pm and had tons and tons of candy! As most of you know Ryder does not eat sweets (except cookies)...so if anyone would like candy, it is all yours.
Check out this youtube of our trick or treating at Vandy! I think you can click on the post title and get there. If not, cut and paste...

Halloween was very confusing for Bump. At first he was petrified of Ryder the Lion, then he wanted to bite and chase him. They were a mess!
And our pumpkins...
Updates!
We have been having tons of fun in Nashville. Here are a couple pictures from various pumpkin patches, his very first movie theater experience, and Disney on Ice. Enjoy!
Ryder is just like his mommy...he LOVES animals, especially dogs. This pumpkin patch had everything, but we spent a lot of time playing with animals.
These are from Disney on Ice, we sat FRONT row. It was wonderful. Ryder was especially excited to see Woody and Buzz so close. At the end he got up the guts and went up to shake hands with his Disney friends.

Ryder's very first movie theater experience. We went and saw Lion King 3D with his girlfriends!

First Day of School
Parent Orientation
This year Ryder starts school. Crazy, I know. He will be in two days a week (our pediatrician says a day per year starting at 2...so when he turns 3 he may go 3 days a week and so on and so forth) It is a great chance for him to socialize with other kiddos.
Last week was parent orientation. It only lasted about 2 hours and we met his teachers (love them!) and then had a a group orientation while Ryder stayed in class with his teachers. His class is perfect for him 8 boys and 4 girls and he has two girls teachers; one is a Vandy grad and Ryder kissed her the first day he met her the other will be leaving on maternity soon. She will be replaced by a male musician (how cool).
Below are some pix from parent orientation: Ricky's Aunt Marietta was there to participate in the festivities.

Granny's Birthday Week
We traveled to Pittsburgh this summer to celebrate my mom's $0th birthday (secret). We went a little early and had Ricky's birthday there and went to Idlewild Park and at the end of the week Uncle Mike and his girlfriend Ashlyn, Uncle Tommy, Aunt Traci and Jackson and Morgan joined us in Pittsburgh and we had a nice little party for Granny. There are lots of pictures (mainly because Ryder rode EVERY ride at the amusement park and loved it. He is certainly my child!!) Love you Ryder...can't wait till we can ride together.
Celebrating Ricky's birthday with balloons and ice cream pie.
A personal favorite. Mrs. Wickert was walking down the driveway to say hello and this is what she walks into...priceless
Off to Idlewild
This was his very first (non-kiddy) roller coaster ride. He loved it.
This was about 30 seconds after he got off the roller coaster...fast asleep. Great Day!
Thursday and things are getting crazy...3 kids under 4 years old, plus 8 adults and the kicker is 3 dogs (one a crazy puppy, Bump) in my parents house. We make it work!
Chillin...
All dressed up and ready to take Granny out to birthday dinner. We went to the Georgetown, on Mt. Washington. We took the incline up the hill but it was a rainy evening, bummer.
