Baptism in Denver

Quick weekend recap. We got in LATE Friday night and went to sleep. Ryder's baptism was on Saturday, then a nice little party at Rox Bar and Grill. Sunday we took a tour of Coors brewing facility. Then, Monday it was off to the mountains for some skiing (earlier post). Not much to write, just fun pictures to see. Enjoy

From the Little Apple to the Big Apple

Last weekend the family took a quick trip to New York City to spend some time with close friends in Manhattan. The weather could not have been more beautiful, but I think the nightlife was what Ricky and I truly enjoyed. We got in Thursday and enjoyed the company at a little Mexican restaurant and then out for drinks. As always Justin planned out a wonderful weekend of food and drinks. Too bad he missed the best blueberry pancakes ever...Lorraine, you guys will have to go back.

Friday was our big night out and they are lucky they got me into the cab at 2am. I could have danced and enjoyed the bear fights all night long (OK...I did not do a bearfight...but I love the lonely bear). Saturday we went to central park and watch the crazy people and then Saturday night, Lorraine and I took a quick trip to FAO. I could not miss the fun photo opportunity. Unfortunately, I did not take that many pictures of the weekend, but I will post what I have

Thanks to Lorraine and Paul for housing us in their beautiful apartment. Thanks to Sauce for the "framework" for the weekend. Thanks to Dito and Hillary...you guys just make things fun! You all make thing fun. We had a great time!!

Special thanks goes to Michelle and Joe for babysitting Ryder. It was great to be able to party all night and still have my little man to play with all day!

Enjoy the pictures.

Ryder was not a fan of the slide

Ryder riding the motorcycle (the only one he is ever allowed to ride)

Hanging out with Sauce...look we match

OK, story here. Ryder took the fact that New York was the "city that never sleeps" to heart. He never took a nap and he hung out with us from about 2:30am till 3 in the morning one night. This picture is of him in front of the clock, so I could prove he was up and happy at nearly 3am. What it does not show is that he shared some pizza with the drunk crew he was hanging out with (including mom). I know, not the best mothering, but everyone had a great time!!

Hanging out at Central Park with my friend Jack Fava (Meaghan Fava's son)

Ryder's one and only nap...when I wanted to take pictures

Still napping at FAO. Fits right in with the bears

Sitting in the king reading chair with Lorraine. You cannot tell from this picture but Lorraine was soooo sick. Thanks for toughen out the trip Lorraine!

Ryder loved this rocking sheep. It was soft and padded and he strapped into the seat. it was pretty awesome.

Ryder did not want to take this picture...can you tell? Normally he loves cookie monster.

I love Mary Jane

After Ryder's baptism in Denver (pictures and post to come) we took some time and enjoyed a local ski resort, Winter Park's Mary Jane. Ricky and Mike enjoyed the slopes with some friends while the grandparents and I took Ryder sledding. Daddy joined us for some great pictures. Enjoy.

Swingers

Title got your attention didn't it. Just kidding.

Our little guy has taken quite a liking to our afternoon walks, he starts kicking his feet when we start getting close to the park and we always take a few minutes to enjoy the swings.

Warning...I am not good at this and I am so loud and you cannot hear Ryder. He was yelling with excitement. it was so cute and I talked over it. Turn down your volume, I'm loud! Sorry!
