Ryder's First Steelers Game

Ryder watched his first Steeler game last night, it was a preseason against the Cardinals, a Superbowl replay. The good news is that is ended the same...Steelers victory. Here we go!

I'm not sure what to do with this thing...

Lazy Days

Ryder and I joined a couple friends yesterday for a little pool party. Check out some of the pictures. He did go in the water and he seemed to enjoy it, but I do not have any pictures. Bummer!

All he needs is a drink with a little umbrella.

Face Time

Our dogs are going mad with jealousy. Check out a couple pictures so that we give them a little face time or snout time...like they will ever know. Love you crazy dogs!

Daddy is back to work

Daddy is back to work full time, Ricky is out the door before Ryder wakes up at 7 and home long after Ryder goes to sleep at 10:30pm, so we are finding excuses to take pictures and send them to daddy to brighten his busy day. We love you Daddy!

Granny's Visit

We had a nice visit from Granny this month. It was a perfect time, since Ricky was headed back to working full time this week. We started the visit with a fun night with Ricky's tight ends. They joined us a nice steak dinner.

it should be noted that Ricky is 6'4" and he is the shortest guy in the picture (besides Ryder, of course)

Later in the week, we took a trip to Topeka and shopped, we walked the K-State campus, and spent some quality time with Ryder sitting on the front porch.

Ryder got two cool new blankets handmade from Granny. A tailgating blanket, just for Ryder and a quilt designed by Pup Pup and quilted by Granny for our family room floor. Check it out, it is in lots of pictures. Ryder also received a sweet sweater, hand knitted, no pictures of that yet. And, of course, granny spoiled me with toys.

In the week while Granny was here, Ryder learned to reach for his toys and sometimes put them straight in his mouth.

Aunt Carol's Visit

We are going to play a bit of catch-up. We missed a nice visit from mommy's Aunt Carol, back in July. We only have a couple pictures, but while Aunt Carol was here we took Ryder to the zoo for the first time. Check out a picture of daddy carrying me around the zoo in my baby Bjorn.

Thanks Aunt Carol for making the trip to Kansas. We really enjoyed your visit.
